Blog help: Engaging commenters
One important aspect of blogging, and one I fail at sometimes, is responding to readers’ comments. You don’t have to respond to them all, especially as readership grows, but particularly when your blog is still small, when a reader makes a comment, find a way to say “thanks”, or “good point” etc.
It’s easy to get distracted by other things and think you’ll get to it later. But you shouldn’t wait - comments, like articles, go cold pretty quickly.
Responding to comments build powerful relationships. And genuine ones too. So don’t let yourself get too busy to respond to comments.
