Blog Help - The truth about blog lies
Ann Hadley over a MarketingProfs has been blogging for three months and expected it to be both harder and easier than it is. As a result, she’s consulted various people to give their thoughts on what lies are put upon newbie - and not so newbie - bloggers:
So I started to wonder, what other misconceptions are there about blogging? What have some other bloggers, more wizened than me, found to be the biggest lies? So I asked my friends and colleagues, “What the biggest lie about blogging?â€
Anyone in blogging or considering blogging, should must read it. Many of the respondents responded positively. Jeremy Wright even went so far as compiling a Top 40.
My contribution would be:
“It takes hardly any time”
Pfft! It is very time consuming. It takes time every day with reading your niche, commenting on others’ blogs and finally writing your posts. It is a part time job. What’s more, it consumes your mind throughout the day. All up, all these things considered, a single blog could take from one to a few hours of your day.
If you want to read some more positive ones, check out the whole post. So may contradict my contribution. So be it. A few in there should inspire posts of their own.
