Engadget | Labels hit back at Apple, now want share of iPod revenues

Engadget reports that Warner Music Group CEO Edgar Bronfman, is suggesting labels should get a cut of iPod revenue because revenue from the Tunes Music Store is not enough for them.

Is he implying that it is legal music downloads from iTMS that is selling iPods? Did he ask Sony for a cut of revenue from Walkmans and Discmans?

The record industry is still selling CDs by the truckload and many people are still filling their iPods with music purchased from CDs.

Apple - wave the bird at Mr Bronfman.
