LEGO creates new version of Mindstorms, NXT
Finally LEGO are showing some committment to Mindstorms after seemingly letting it almost die. And the exciting thing is it appears it will once again support Mac OS X. No word on Linux though.
After 8 years of waiting, the number one selling product from LEGO, LEGO Mindstorms, is getting a rehaul. The new version, called “LEGO Mindstorms NXT” will be released in Aug. of 2006, be programmable with Bluetooth, and only retail for $250. This is what you’ve been waiting for!
