Apple Mac - Tempted by the Apple? - via Mossberg Report

Walt Mossberg puts forward an article to those who might consider switching to Apple Macs. There is one sentence that really stood out for me:

Of all the major computer makers, Apple is the most focused on consumers and small businesses. Most make the bulk of their money, and take most of their cues, from the information-technology departments of large corporations.

That was something I’d really thought of before. I knew Apple considered the customer, but Walt’s right. Microsoft, Symantec, Adobe, Dell et al are all dependent on the corporate market for their ongoing success. Take that away and they’d be bit players like Apple.

So if you are considering a Mac, that is a nice thought - although Apple can be rather pigheaded… But as they say at the beach “Come on in, the water’s fine.”
