Musings: Is this anyway to live?
I read in The Age newspaper online, that many trains on Melbourne’s system are overloaded. It reminded me that I used to travel that way for many years. I no longer undeerstand how people can choose to live like that - and the option of sitting in mobile carparks (sometimes called freeways), is no better. But then, maybe they don’t have a choice.
I live in a small town with earning potential significantly less than if I was in a big city, but to use a cliche, I wouldn’t trade it for quids.
