The Mighty Trojan Mouse
So, what gives with this new Apple Mighty Mouse? Looks like a single-button mouse. Feels like a single button. Even defaults to single button out of the box.
And it’s Windows compatible.
Seems to me this is a Trojan Mouse on two fronts:
1) The traditional Mac user who swears by the single button variety gets gently lured into the 21st century. Sooner or later, Apple will release a mouse that there’ll be no doubt that it is multi-button.
2) Just something else the Window’s user can use on his/her PC. Not very likely, but still another little chink in the compatibility argument
So who knows, maybe this mouse will make some significant inroads.
