Why aren’t things always what they seem?
Look at this picture. The squares marked A and B are exactly the same shade of grey.

Of course you don’t believe me. Open the image in an image editing program then cut square B, and place it next to square A. Or use the eye dropper tool to select each square’s color and you’ll see it’s the same for both.
If our eyes can so easily be deceived, what of our other senses or instincts?
Are our relationships with others, ourselves and the environment an illusion? Are we being fooled? Stability, for instance, could mask possible problems. Never take for granted that when life is going good, things are really good. A fall that you are unprepared for, could be just around the corner.
