Why is telemarketing legal?
How is it that spam email is illegal, but spam phone calls (i.e. telemarketing) is not?
More people are offended and annoyed by telemarketing than spam. With spam you can limit it with spam filters, but there’s nothing you can do to filter spam telemarketing.
