A great quote about success and hard work

Saw this great quote in an interview (of sorts) with the former Australian Test cricket bowler Merv Hughes:

The harder you work through the easy times, the easier it becomes through the hard times. If you work hard at your basic training, the easier it is during the game situation.

That of course applies to any walk of life. It’s really easy to push yourself when the pressure’s on, but what about when it’s not?

AFL: Drawn games are a curse.

Dunno what it’s like in other sports, but in the AFL, a drawn game is a curse.
Since 2005, teams featuring in a draw have only won 2 out a possible 16 games the following week.
