Will I get my Mac?

In a 6 hours, Apple is releasing some “fun new products”. Rumors abound. Of course. It wouldn’t be Apple without rumors.

Me? I’m, hoping for an Intel Mac mini. I’m wishing for it to be a media center - with all the ins and outs. But you can’t expect that, it would drive the prices too high.

And when they release the Mac mini, I can finally get the old iMac (teardrop shape, ruby coloring) off the kids for my office - the office without distractions, the one without internet. The one where I write.

Of course, that new Intel Mac mini may be a distraction in itself…

What I want… the perfect portable computer

I want a palmtop computer with an 80GB hard drive, 512MB RAM, a full OS (not handheld version) but tailored for handheld usage eg pen interface.But what I really want to set this device apart from other handhelds, is a dock so that it connects to a mouse, keyboard and monitor when I’m at my desk.If anyone knows of such a device - let me know!
