Nintendo Wii Security is Shortchanged

The Nintendo Wii lets you password protect areas you don’t want other people to access. Great, fantastic idea. Only problem is the implementation.

To enter your password you type on the screen, and the password is there for all to see in letters inches high. Useful, Nintendo. Not!

Please, give us a firmware update that hides the password with asterisks.

Playstation kids don’t get the Wii

Veteran and hardcore gamers are apparently just as sold on the Nintendo Wii as everybody else, but I’ve noticed one group who seem to get bored easily by it: PlayStation kids.We’ve had 8yo, 10yo and 11yo boys visit who own PlayStation 2…. It seems they are used to lots of carange and explosions, so can’t appreciate any other type of game.
