Joined Facebook today coz everyone - especially Robert Scoble - www.scobleizer.com - keeps talking about it. After searching my address book, it came to the conclusion I have no friends. I Coulda told ya that! Admittedly, that was friends already on Facebook.

Then it proposes other ways to make friends on Facebook, such as networking. Eeek! That sounds too much like talking to people.

These new fang dangled online social networks sure aint for the Asperger’s and others on the autism spectrum.

Further to my previous post about my work for a commercial website, I was investigating content management systems. I have been happy with Wordpress; however have found it not ideal for the average person who just wants to update web pages occasionally.

Much to my surprise, I discovered yesterday that my blogs are doing quite nicely all things considered. This is significant as I have posted less than monthly for most of the last year.It’s sort of a kick in the groin coz I alosalsonk, sheesh!

Have spent the last three days trying to get my student edition of Adobe Creative Suite registered. Five emails from two different email accounts with relevant documentation attached failed to arrive at Adobe.Eventually it seems the problem might be Adobe limiting emails with attachments.

The Nintendo Wii lets you password protect areas you don’t want other people to access. Great, fantastic idea.

My posting’s here have been somewhat irregular latterly. Oh okay, allwhat!So better bring you up to speed.Latterly is my fave word of the moment.But there is bigger news.

Oe of the secrets of successful goal setting is telling other people. It’s amazing how hard that can be if you’re not serious about the goal, and it’s amazing how powerful it is when you know someone else is watching to see if you succeed.

Ah! So The journey is near its end. After a series running some 10 years or so, J K Rowling is about to draw the Harry Potter series to a close with the seventh and final book, intriguingly titled, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows being announced for release on 21st July 2007.

Macitt has relaunched and they are giving away a Mac mini this month. The most interesting feature is the feed reader so you can not only see the most popular stories from the mac web but read your own sites too.

Veteran and hardcore gamers are apparently just as sold on the Nintendo Wii as everybody else, but I’ve noticed one group who seem to get bored easily by it: PlayStation kids.We’ve had 8yo, 10yo and 11yo boys visit who own PlayStation 2…. It seems they are used to lots of carange and explosions, so can’t appreciate any other type of game.
